OPENING XIGHTOX SATURDAY. In very short time the large buHdine in the vicinity o£ the wharf, henceforth to be known a? “Rivoli Recreations,” has been ma ready for the. opening night to-ro° r _ row Saturday,: when a gala skating evening Is to be held. Th e °Penßig ceremony is to be perfomed by His \f?lship the Mayor, Mr A. F. Tunas and skating will be indulged in until ml finishing touches are now being put to the main.building. and the builders are then to go straight ahead with that portion of the premises to be used as a social hall, and to mark the completion of the whole building. the director, Mr M. A. Nass °!; j® £at ranging for a ball on a somewhat lavish scale, with the band to provide the music. This will be towards the end of September. Meantime of course the rink will be opened for skating as announced, and for any other purposes IJiat may be arranged. : -
