The race started at 2.20 p.& The finishing times were: Petrel, 1m 40s; Jonquil, 3h 2m 30s; Bonn. 3h 2m 535; Dottrell, 3h 3m 30s; Ves. tal, 3h 4m 225; Zev. 3h 17m; Ariel, 3h 28m. Petrel won ny bo seconds. Master Mackrell wsis the holder 0! the Cup and will retain the trophy for the ensuing twelve months, Dot. trell was unfortunate in ruanSj aground near the Rallway Wharf uj lost her position; otherwise she would have been much closer. Race for Galatea Cup, The first-class yachts sailed in tie sceond race for the Galatea Cap. There was a heavy breeze. The rate resulted in a win for Mr F. Lysaght’s Daphne, w ith Mr C. Tilby’s Wlari second. Those two yachts each hi« eight points and will sall-ol! for lie trophy.
