ASKED ABOUT POISONS

YOUTH’S DEATH. "Wnat are the strongest poisons? which act the most quickly? How quick is cyanide? How does it act? Opium? Strychnine? These remarkable questions were asked by Henry Alfred Lindsay, aged 17. of Arncliffe, a week before he die dfrom the effects of strychnine poisoning on August 24. At the inquest in Sydney, Francis Kelly, a city chemist, said that Lindsay had been employed in his shop, and when he asked these questions about potent poisons he gave him the correct answers.
