DEATH SENTENCE.
Sydney, April 1. Wiliam Morton, aged 26, has been sentenced to death for the brutal murder of Alexander Barrie, aged 75, at his home at Paddington, a Sydney suburb, on December 14, 1931. Morton was arrested on March 9 after a painstaking search through New South Wales.
