The crop consisted of some 3J acres, and' was sown on land treated with a dressing of 4cwt. of mixed manure to the acre. The crop was sown on October 26 last, and cut on March 5, led-in last Saturday, and threshed on Monday without having been stacked. The result of the threshing was 52 sacks, all of about five bushels, a total of some 250 bushels, which averages in the vicinity of 75 to 80 bushels per acre.
