Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London principals, Messrs Samuel Page and Son, dated 23rd instant: —Butter: The market is slow. New Zealand, finest salted, at 107 s to 109 s; Danish, at 116 s to 118 s; Australian, finest unsalted, at 104 s to 108 s; g.a.q., at 100 sto 102 s. Cheese: The mai'ket is quiet. New Zealand, white, at 60s to 61s; coloured, at 61s to 625; Canadian, white, at 66s to 725; coloured, at 66s to 725; Australian, white, at 59s to 60s; coloured, at 60s to 61s.
Messrs A. H. Turnbull and Co. are in recipt of a cable from their principals, Messrs W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London, 23rd iust.. reading as follows: Butter; Danish, 118 s; New Zealand finest salted, 107 s to 109 s; Australian salted 103 s to 109 s; Australian, salted, 103 sto 105 s. Market slow. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 60s to 61s; coloured, 61s to 625. Market slow. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. has received the following cable from its London huse, dated March 23: — Butter; 108 s per cwt. Cheese: 60s to 62s per cwt. Market is very slow.
