EASTER REGATTA.
TO BE HEED OX SATURDAY NEXT. One of the most interesting of the numerous events on the programme of the Regatta on Saturday next will undoubtedly be the display by the combined Ta.kapuna. and Milford Life Saving and Surf .Clubs. As an education feature in the art of life-sav-ing such displays are invaluable. Even the land drill, demonstrating the manner in which a drowning person’s holds are broken, is more than worth while. Expenses in connection with the visit tally up to r. fair sum, and the support of the public is warranted in good_ measure. With aqua-planing’, high diving, school swimming, rowing and sailing events, a very full day of interesting sport is promised.
Dive Crescent will be closed to ordinary traffic and utilized as a parking area- Drivers of cars using this road will kindly assist those in charge by complying with any request for marshalling cars conveniently.
