AXEMAN INJURED.
ACCIDENT TO WHATTA GREEN. Sydney, Aprpil 22 At the Royal Sydney Show to-day Whatta Green (New Zealand) drove an axe into his foot and made a wound four inches long. The accident occurred while he was practising for the wood-chopping contests. The injured man will not be able to compete in the Commonwealth 15in standing chop championship.
