ORGANISED REVOLT AT CHITTAGONG
Seven People Killed and Others Wounded. REBELS USE CARS, , Delhi, April 20 Reports filtering through from Chittagong reveal ithat,t-,the revolt, there had been carefully prepared and organised. The authorities were taken completely by surprise. The raiders. escaped to the hills, which are being scoured by armed police and auxiliary forces. The seven people killed comprised two taxi-drivers. Several others were wounded. The district magistrate at Chittagong. Mr H. Wilkinson, had a dramatic escape. He was endeavouring to cut off the rebels when his car was fired upon. An Indian orderly was killed and the chaffeur was wounded. The cai* was riddled with bullets. The revolutionaries carried out the raid in motor cars, four of which were found abandoned many miles from the town. Five men have been arrested, two of whom are wounded.
