BRITISH PREMIER PLEASED. London, April 19 Mr M. E. Stephens, the New Zealand fruitgrowers’ representative in London, sent a box of apples to the Pi’ime Minister, Mr MacDonald, after Miss Isabel, his daughter, had opened the apple season. Mr MacDonald, in acknowledging the gift, wrote:—“We greatly enjoyed the delicious fruit. My daughter was delighted with her visit to your exhibit and most happy if it was of .service to you.”
