POVERTY BAY V. BAY OF PLENTY. The following team has been selected to represent the Bay of Plenty Union against Poverty Bay, at Gisborne, on Monday, June 3; Full-back, McKay (Oputiki); threequarters, M. Howell and P. Howell (Kaitgitaiki), McLeod (Tauranga); five-eighths, E. Howell (Rangitaiki), Torn Morrison (Rotorua); half, Kihgi (Rangitaiki); rover, Clem Black (Opotiki), captain; forwards, Scott (Rotorua), Peebles (ilangitaiki), Paul Tama (Rangitaiki), Middleton (Whakatanc), Bonne (Rangitaiki), Matia (To Puke), Tangitu (Tauranga). Emergencies; Wallace (Rotorua), Warner (Tauranga). Tauranga, Te Puke, Rotorua, and Rangitaiki players will assemble at the Commercial Hotel, Whakatane, on Saturday night. The team will leave Whakatane early on . Sunday morning, picking up Whakatane and Opotiki players cn route. The team will arrive back at Whakatanc on Tuesday night. . TO-MORROW'S GAMES. The Cadets Old Boys senior team to play Athletics at 2 p.m. tomorrow' wdll be chosen from the following:— Turner (2), Burns, Phelan, Haua, Bickers, Farmer, Kelly, Leslie, Pearson, Broad, Mirrielces, Firmin, Thomas, Hardy and Fitzpatrick. The following will represent the Athletic Football Club on Saturday in a match against the Cadets Old Boys at 2 p.m.; lies (2), Tassell, Wilkinson, Huthnance, Nepia, Warner, Ayres, Policy, Mountfort, Castaing, Burgess, Bryant (2), Kelly, Rikarangi, Cameron. Players are asked to note that the match will be played at 2 o’clock not 2.30 p,m. as previously - The Cadets Old Boys junior team to play' Athletics at 1.45 p.m. will be picked from the following: Olsen, Evans, Lloyd, Fletcher, McKee, Hammond, Geary, Milne, Salt, Nash, Mikaerie, Heke, Crabbe, Simmonds, Smith, MacLaughlin, McClinchie and Eirinui.
