I The interim Moderator of Whaka- j tane, the Rev. W. H. Holloway, laid on the table a unanimous call in favour of the Rev. H, J. Lilburn, recently from Ireland. Presbytery resolved that the call be received and forwarded on to the Auckland Presbytery. Should the call be accepted by Air Lilburn, the following arragemets have been made for his induction ; The Moderator of Presbytery to preside and induct, the "Rev. R. Warnock to preach the sermon the Rev. D. Hird to address the minister. and the Rev. A. F. Sutherland to address the congregation. A strongly-worded protest against the running of excursion trains on Sundays was adopted by Presbytery nnd the Clerk was instructed to forward a copy to the Prime Minister and to the Minister of Railways. The next meeting of Presbytery is at Te Puke' on April 9 at 11 a.m,.
