WEDDING

FLEMING—PATTERSON. An interesting wedding was solemnised in the Uropi Hall ou New Year’s Day, the bride being Miss Martha Patterson, of Uropi, late of Portadown. Ireland, and the groom, Mr Samuel Fleming, also of Uropi. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr Drown, of Tauranga. The hall was tastefully decorated with flowers and ferns- The bride, entering on the arm of her father. who gave her away, was dressed in cream crepe-de-chine with veil and wreath of orange; blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of pale pink carnations and maiden hair fern- The bridesmaid. Miss Vera Patterson, looked charming in beige crepe rose-marie, with hat, shoes and stockings to match. Her bouquet was of pink and cream carnations. Mr William Fullerton assisted at the ceremony groomsman. The wedding breakfast was held in tlie* garden of the bride's residence, the guests being received by Mrs Patteison. who wore black marocain. and her daughters, Olivia and Annie, dressed in navy crepe de chine.. The presents, which included many both useful and ornainen", tal articles, were on view in the drawingroom. After tlu* usual toasts and speeches the bride and groom left for Rotorua, , where they intend to commence a honeymoon tour. The wedding
