WOMAN DROWNED
11BSULT OF MOTOR ACOIDENT, (Per Press Association. - ) Wellington, Nov 4. Last evening a motor accident with (atal results, occurred on Point Halswell Hoad, near the Miramar wharf. From the details available it appears that the motor car was being driven along (ho northward of Miramar wharf by H. Banks, a confectioner, residing at Lyall flay, when it went over the bank on to the beach, throwing Mrs Banks, who was with her hatband, into Hie water. Mrs Banks was drowned, Mrs Hanks was drowned, but the body was recovered. Banks was not injured, and the car was only slightly damaged.
