Rec Dec. 24, 9.30 a.m London, Dec 23 The Sunday Times political correspondent says Mr Baldwin feels acutely the misforlmes he has brought on his party and will intimate to his suppoiters that he is prepared to resign the leadership. On that point, however, he will be re-assured, fo 1 * there is no desire to swamp horses in crossing the stream. Mr Ramsay MacDonald, speaking at Elgin, said he was sorry he could not tell them what was about to happen because he was not sure that the Labour Party was going to get fair play. He had a suspicion that between January 5 ana 8 there was going to be an attempt made to‘‘wangle’’ the constitution also that democracy might not have fair play.
