SUIT FOR DIVORCE
Aust.—N.2. Cable Assoc Ree. Dec. 21, 9.15 a.m, Vancouver, Dec. 20. A Los Angeles telegram stales that Helen La Maic is asking for >a divorce from her husband who is a motion picture director and a theatre manager. She claims that La Maic negotiated four years ago with a wealthy negro of the Mexican underworld to sell her for half-a-milliou dollars, of which He offered to give her 150,000 dollars if she consented. He then became violently angry because she demurred.
