IRISH TURMOIL
Rec Sept 25, 9.20 a.m London, Sept. 23. Armed men held up a passenger train at Banska, from Tipperary, and smashed the carriages and sprinkled petrol and set them to fire, Elsewhere t ( ho rails were torn up and culverts and bridges damaged. The irregulars raided the Grand Canal works and looted much property. Numerous ambushes occlived in Cork County. The Free Staters claim that they killed seven irregulars.
