A big Martin bomber aeroplane crashed to earth and burst into ilames before 25,000 spectators. The scene was illuminated by powerful searchlights. Spectators rushed to the machine., but were unable to approach closely, owing to the raging Hre, which! quickly consumed the aeroplane
