Gales, rain and snow are causing extensive damage in the country. A teamster was frozen to death in camp near Crook well. A halfcaste died similarly a few days ago in the same locality. Sr. Georues Free Presbyterian Church in Sydney was badly damaged by the gale .last night. The lower is leaning dangerously over | the street, which is barricaded, and tram traffic has be.u stopped.
