PERSIAN PROBLEM

Rec June 28, 8.50 a.m. Delhi, June 26 A message from Teheran reports that the Persian Prime Minister resigned from office, in view of the present crisis. An important deputation, comprising all classes of the Persian people, asked the Shah not to accept the resignation, on account of the popularity of the Premier and the lack of a successor- They also Slid that the resignation of the Premier, who was the chief Persian author of the British Persian agreement, following the departure of Sir TJ. Cox, Brkish Consul-Genera], would render the situation extremely critical. The Shah has accepted the resignation. Kutchik Khan's revolutionary force-; have reached Mazendaran. He is credited with the intention of a.tempting to advance on Teheran from Mazendaran, avoiding the British troops at Tazvin.
