Germans Adopt Former Methods
London, July 16
Reuters correspondent reports: "The Germans .adopted no new 'methods. They advanced under cover of mist and must have relied on their usual filtration tactics, sending columns along small valleys. The Germans are not using anything like, one division to the mile as in their previous attacks. The French higher command is most pleased at the situation The latest reports at noou.OQ the 15th inst show that on the Prunay-Massigues sector the offensive is held everywhere, except at Prosnes, while the enemy has occupied Prunay, which is half-a-mile behind the line of attack. West of Rheims, between Colomiues and Frasoy the enemy progressed on a front of twenty miles on au average from two to three miles, the maximum depth beiDg 3£ miles at Belval Camblezy.''
