Brilliant Counter-attack by Americans
London, July 16 An American official statement
reports: " Eastward of Chateau * Thierry, where the Germans succeed- ' ed this morning in gaining some ground, wo counter-attacked and drove them back to the Marne. We captured 500 prisoners; In the Vosses'five trench raids attempted by the enemy broke down."
