RIFLE SHOOTING.

Service shooting was again the order last Thursday. A trophy presented by the Secretary, Rifleman A. E. Hammond, was competed for. The severe conditions brought out some good shooting, 2nd a good deal of the other kind.

UiHenian J. Pease was the surprise packet of the day. He only missed first place by one. point. Fooks was first, his splendid 23 points in 2U seconds gave him a ]cad which he maintained in the remaining shoot?.
