Wellington, Oct 1. The Legislative Council met at 8 p.m.
The. Gaming Amendment Bill was read a second, time. It was considered in committee and progress was reported, owing to opposition to a new clause introduced by the Bill extending the number of racing days.
The Railway Authorisation Bill ftnd Auctioneers Amendment Bill passed all stages. The Mortgages Extension and Law Practitioners Amendment Bills also passed the final stage.
