Kec Oct 4, 11 15 am Paris, Oct 3 A communique states that between Souchez and the Givenchy wood the enemy made four attempts'to retake, by bombing, portions of his lost crenelles, but was everywhere repulsed. The enemy bombarded a portion of our resei ye trenches iv the Suippes Valley aud is still using asphyxiating shells. We silenced several enemy's batteries.
