Austrian Statement.
Rec Sept 26, 2.20 p.m. Amsterdam, Sept 25. An Austrian communique says:— The Russians, supported by heavy artillery, attacked our positions at Novo Alexandrovsk, on the - Lower Ikwa. They advanced eleven lines deep, but were repulsed with heavy losses. We counter-attacked and captured a Russian position. The enemy's further attempts to cress the Lower Ikwa failed.
