Rpc Sept 26, miJuight .Paris, Sept 26 A communique records :— 0u the Belgian coast our batteries , co-operated with the British fleet in the bombardment of German positions iu Wcstende and fttiddlekirk. Good Progress by Allies. The British troops "Successfully attacked the enemy westward of T, o os aud Hiilluch A vigorous Anglo-French attach northward of Arras gave us a footing at several pointjs on the enemy's lines, while in the Champagne area, af :er a new aud very violenc bombardment ohreuches, shelteis, blockhouses and butteries, our infantry began to assault the German line between Suippe and the Aisue. The first of the Enemy's positious were occupied along almost the whole front of attack. Progress continues.
