The Government ract with a defeat in the House of Lords in connection with the War Pensions Bill.
Lord Devouport moved an amendment, eliminating the Royal Patriotic Fund Corporation from the committee that is administering -war pensions, the amendment beiug carried by 35 votes to 26.
1b is expected that the House of Commons will reject the amendment because it upsets the feature of the scheme*
