Necessity for Speeding Up.
London, Sept 17 Mr Lloyd George, Minister of Munitions, replying at Coventry to the Labour Committee's denial that he circularised workmen regarding the rapidity of work, quoted a letter, signed by the secretary of the committee, calling his fellow workmen non-workmen because they finished i« 8.1 hours a job on a Howitzer, which normally took 31-.V hours This was one regrettable instance among many in which warworkers were discouraged from assisting the country to their utmost in the hour of need.
