Mr D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist, wired to -day bs follows:— The indications are for southeasterly winds moderate .to strong. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer little inovemeut. Seas moderate ; tides good.
