Wellington, Sept 20. The House of Representatives met at 7.30.
The following loca? bills were put through their final stages arid passed; — Papakura Beach Vesting Bill (Hon. W. F. Massey), Wellington and Karori Sanitation and Water Supply Amendmnet Bill (Mr Wright), Christchurch Electrical Supply Empowering Amendment Bill (Mr Isitt), Wyndham Recreation Reserve Amendment Bill (Mr Anderson), Tokomaru Bay Harbour Bill (Hon. W. D. S MacDonald), and Bluff Harbour Improvement Bill (Sir J. Ward).
The Moa County Bill (Mr Hine) was read a second time.
The following Government Bills were read a sscond time:—Savings Banks Amendment Bill, Fruit Preserving Industry Amendment Bill, Scenery Preservation Amendment Bill. Swamp Drainage Bill, National Provident Fund Amendment Bill, War Funds Bill.
The Imprest Supply Bill (No. 4), providing for the payment of £953,500 was passed without debate. The House rose at 9.35.
