The Russians were compelled since yesterday to retreat along the eufcire front, owing to General yon Scholtz's and General you Gallwitz's envireling movements and simultaneous sharp attacks Vilna, although strongly fortified, has fallen into our hands. lice Sept 20, 9.30 a ra London, Sept 20 The Germans claim to have captured Vilna.
