Campaign in Full Swing.

Capetown, Sept 9. The election campaign is in full swing. Practically all seats are contested, the main fight being between Bothaites and Hertzogites. The latter are opposing all Botha's candidates. The Bothaites are contesting all the Orangia seats, which have hitherto been regarded as overwhelming Hertzogite. The feature of the campaign is the number of candidates who served in the higher ranks against tbeGermans
The Bothaites appeal for a majority over all parties, emphasising that South Africa has Imperial obligations. The Unionists offer to give full support to the government.
