Enemy's Military Works Bombed.
Bee Sept 9, 8 50 p m Paris, Sept 9 A communique records:— Two divisions of Germans in the western Argonne, after an intense bomDardmeut in which a large number of asphyziating shells were used, attacked and set foot on our advanced trenches at some points, but we violently counter-attacked and foiled the enemy's new attempt ou the brink of our front.
As a reprisal for the bombardment of Nancy one of our air squadrons bombed military works at Frescatz and the railway station at Metz.
