PROPOSED LOAN
At the mooting of the County Coun cil on Tuesday a letter was read from tic Superintendent of tho StateGuaranteed Advances Office, who wrote as under : ;M am in receipt of your letter of lUh inst, wherein you state that your Council is desirous of raising a loan of £1000 to metal main roads in Waimapu Eiding and also a loan of £1000 to form and metal by roads in the same Hiding- In reply, I am enclosing two preliminary application forms to enable you to insert the required particulars, which I have to ask you to be so good as to return whou completed, togethor with, a locality plan in each case, showing the exact situation where the proposed works arc to be undertaken." It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the Waiuiapu members,
