The American athletes competed at the local sports meeting. In the 440 yards race Parser and Brooks made an Australasian record, doing the distance in 49 i-ssecs.
Power also established a fresh Australasian record for the mile, the time being 4min. 1.8 2-Dsecs.
Oaughey put the shot 44 feet yjiu., making another Australasian record.
