PERSONAL NOTES.
The Hon. \V. D. S. Macdonald "~ (Minister for Public Works) expects to visit Auckland in about a fortnight. We undertsand that Mr and Mrs M. P. Stewart and family contemplate leaving Tauranga at a nearly date to take up their residence, in Auckland. Mr W. P. Bicker?, of the staff of the Rangitikei Advocate, arrived from Marton on Monday to spend a short holiday with friends in this district. Mr and Mrs J. R. Page left for Auckland by steamer last night. Mr Page will join the Auckland branch of the Survey Department During his residence in Tauranga he made a host of friends, and the departure of Mr and Mrs Page is regretted by a wide circle of acquaintances.
