The work will be like the first edition, published by subscription, and will be a very valuable addition to the list of works, all too small at present in print oa the subject, as it will contain a drawing of every indigenous bird of New Zealand, instead of a mere selection from them as was the case in the first edition, for a copy of which Dr Buller says £37 108 was given in Melbourne at an auction sale of books.
