WOODVILLE.
Friday. The Hon. Mr Tolo passed tnrough here last night on his way to Wellington via Masterton. At the sale of Crown lands in the Maharahara block, held here to-day, fourteen deferred payment settlers went to competition on one section running to nearly £5. The whole of the sections with the exception of about 20, were disposed of.
