Monday. The coal export for the week was over -3,700 tona. Paroa riding election was recently upset and contested again on Saturday hy the same two candidates, when Mr Guineas, M.H.R., was returned by a larger majority than on the previous occasion. So far as returns go, he has a majority of 45, probably more.
