Anti-Chinese Agitation.
Sydney, Thursday. Governor Sir Hercules Robinson's daughter Neroida, is betrothed to Mr Finlay, of Melbourne. She will be married on the 17th of August.
Auckland is heavily backed, at a 1000 to 80, for the Hawkesbury Grand Handicap. [Mr A. Town's b.c. Auckland by Tim Whiffler (s.) — Waratah ; also engaged in the Metropolitan, 6st. 1 1 libs.,' and the Melbourne Cup, 6st. 51bs] There is fierce agitation against the Chinese.
