THE NATIVE COMMISSIONER'S COURT.
A Native Lands Court, adjourned from tlie 7th. instant, to adjudicate upon the block known as Whakamarama, was held yesterday in the Native Court Room, Government Buildings, before Herbert W. Brabant, Esq., Commsssioner. The Court sat with the intention of taking evidence of the claimants, but instead, the whole day was occupied listening ta various claimants (the greater part of whom were Pirirakau Hauhaus), who were not present at the last Court, and who now objected to the hearing being proceeded with. The opposing party were still speaking, when, at half-past three o'clock, the Commissioner was obliged to adjourn the Court until this morning, owing to the disturbance created in the Court by the women of the party, and whom it was impossible to. bring to ordre.
