N.Z. Forces.

During July 5 687 officers and men of the Expeditionary Force returned to New Zaaland, making tbe total to date 65,740. Of this number, 59,068 have been discharged or gazetted out of the forces, 1.537 have returned to duty, 1,388 await discharge, 59 await return to duty, 1,331 are under treatment in hospitals or convalescent homes, and 1,880 under treatment elsewhere. A return dated August 19, gives the following particulars of the demoblisation of the New Zealand Expeditionary force in England and France Strength in France, 12; in the United Kingdom, 3,855; patients in hospital in the United Kingdom, 492; wives" and families in the United Kingdom, 806; nurses and Red Cross workers to be evacuated; 35 ; evacuated from tbe United Kingdom since the armistice, 42,967.
