CLEARING SALES, Donald Raid and Co., report having held a successful clearing Bale on account of Mr Joseph Campbell (Milburn), on Tuesday, BOoJb June. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and bidding being brisk everything brought market values. Horses sold as follows Filly £3B 10s, gelding £3O, do. £33, filly £l6, harness mare£lslss. Cows: 1 dairy cow, £6los, do. £5 15s, do. £7. Sheep: Ewes up to 16s 9d, lambs to 12s 3d, The implements being in fair order brought satisfactory prices. Drays £l2 to £l2 10a; Cultivator, £1 15s, Donald Reid and Co., also report having held a clearing sale on account of Mr Thos Quill (Milburn), on Friday, June 3rd. The attendance of farmers was limited, but those present being buyers bidding was spirited throughout, and everything brought full market values. Horses sold up to JE34 lOs, cows £4, heiters £5 6s. The mplements also sold well, Dray £lO 10, d.f, plough £5, seeder £7 10s.
