Valentine's Picture Co.

At the Coronation Hall, Milton, on Wednesday, July 1, Mr Valentine provides a feast for the eye and ear. His pictures and entertainers have gained laurels wherever shown trom Christchurch all down the line, and just lately he has been through the Goldfields, his coming being anxiously awaited all along the route. The pictures are well spoken of by the Dominion Press, as they are projected trom a ne«r machine, and are evenly produced, and a special point is the complete absence ot that flicker which is usually associated with these entertainments.

Alongside of the pictures Mr Valentine brings with him a charming young child-wonder of eight years, "Little Alma," who has delighted all her audiences with her songs and dances. Mr T. Shaw, a popular Tjaritone, provides some beautifully illustrated ballads, and Miss E. Norden, A.L.C.M., provides some excellent music, dainty, brilliant, charming and popular, and we think from all accounts Milton should strongly support the combination.
