Government Votes for Works in Bruce.

WHAT HAS RECENTLY BEEN SPENT. It has been said in certain qu. i* that where a member does not ■• |. <»it the Government policy in toto n.. - trict does not get its full share oi uit; expenditure of Government money. We do not believe for one moment that any district is overlooked in the matter of expenditure, where that expenditure is in the public interest. The following table prepared by us, shows what has been expended in recent years, and during the next session the County Council have a?ked for a further sum to be appropriated for public works, or as special subsidies, for county works.
