A Woman's Sufferings Ended

Market Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne, related the story of her illness and cure to a reporter of the ' West Melbourne Gazette ' as follows : — " It is now about three yearp," sbe said, " since I began to suffer from what the doctor who attended me said rather vaguely was liver complaintTo me it seemed indigestion, as nothing I eat agreed with me. After a meal a weight appeared to lie on my cheat, and flatulence was nearly always present. Soon I began to loathe food and to grow very nervous. Ihe least thing Btartled me, and my irritable temper became a source of domestic distress, I was subject to frequent flushings of the face, but after a few months this was succeeded by sallowness of the skin, and my face became hard and drawn. I lost flesh rapidly, and gradually dwindled away until I was reduced to a mere skeleton. None of the many medicines I took did me tbe least good. I went to my friends in Maryborough, and remained there tbree months, but instead of getting better I became wor^e. I got so weak that it was with difficulty I returned to my own home in Melbourne, where I tried to become resigned to my fate, as I now knew my complaint to be chronic liver disease, I tried several much advertised medicines, but without result, and at la«t gave them up in deepair. Just before Christmas my husband brought me home a box of Bile Beans, and I began to take them. In a few days it seemed to me that I felt a little better, and then I decided to continue taking the Beans.
