' : : Out of 11 nominations the following ! seven were elected to the genera* committee: Messrs Landels, Scott, Thomson, Duncan, Vicars and Jar vie ; Secretary and Treasurer, W. H. Johnston ; Match Committee, captain and deputy - captain, and Mr W. Duscan. The election of captain and cleputy- ! captain was postponed until the first match is played. f The entrance subscriptions was fixed at ss. The secretary was chosen as delegate to represent the club at the meetings of the South Otago Cricket Association. On behalf of Mr J. S. Witt, of Sargood, Son, and Ewen, Mr Waite, the representative of that firm, presented the club with a bat valued at £1 Is, and the secretary was instructed to thank Mr Witt for his kind donation. Dr Fitzgerald also generously presented the Club with a valuable net.
