Annual Moating of Householders

— ♦ TOKO. HIGH SCHOOL. After the election of the committee on Monday night, a hearty vote of thanks was aooorded, to the staff for the good work done daring the year. The motion waa moved by Mr F. Grant, and seconded by Mr Jaa. Lnokhart. Mr J v ; W V Petrie, on benalf of tho membera eleotod to the committee, returned thanks for their election. This was all the buaineßS, aud the meeting dispersed after a vote of thanks to the ohair. The committee then held their firs* meeting, when all the members— Messrs Moore, Petrio, Nelson, Mntray, Litt'ej>hn» M*Keohnie, Haggitt, Wilson and Black — were present. On the motion of Mr Petrie, seoonded by I Mr Littlejohn, Mr J Nelson w*a elected ohairman for the ensuing year. Mr Murray then moved, and Mr Petrie aeoonded, that Mr W. Moore be eleoted hon. seoretary and treasurer for tbe year. — Tbis was oarried unanimously. The ohairman and Messrs Moore and Little j oho, were appointed as tho Works Committee It was deoided to meet on the last Monday in tha month at 8 p.m. in the Athetream. It was also resolved that the school be dosed on Wednesday from one o'clook, in order to allow the cadets and teachers to attend the late Mr Gray's funeral. The meeting then terminated.
