JEW-BAITING- IN RUSSIA.
Many of the Eassian Jews removing from the assigned districts are reported to be dying in indescribable misery.
The synagogues at St. Petersburg and Moscow have been sold.
The expulsion and withdrawal of the leading Jewish merchants are seriously interfering with the internal commerce of the country.
It is believed that the Russian conversion loans will be withdrawn, owing to Messrs Bothsohild and other leading Jewish bankers refusing to subscribe, in retaliation for the treatment to which their compatriots have been subjected.
The Rothschilds have cancelled the Russian loan.
Evicted Jews from the interior are arriving in the capital. Thousands have been driven through the streets in chains like criminals. The police are accused of carrying out their orders in an unnecessarily barbarous manner.
There is a panic amo?ng Jewish merchants in the city.
Russians who adhere to the Baptist church are being sentenced to Siberia, and all seoeders from the orthodox Greek Church are being persecuted.
The shocking details of expulsion of Jews from Russia have given rise to strong public feeling both in England and America.
